The 3rd Nanotechnology Workshop was held on 21st December, 2019 at the Tishk International University. The department of physics education organized the workshop.  The aim of this workshop was to provide an opportunity for the experts in the field of Nanotechnology to present their research findings, and also to provide a forum to learn about exciting, ground-breaking researches occurring in Nanotechnology.​  The main focus of the 3rd Nanotechnology Workshop was to highlight the potential applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology. ​  Six distinguished researchers from 6 different universities presented their valuable studies. Tishk International University through IT Services Unit & TIU Research Center launched the 1st National workshop titled on ``5G And Beyond Technology`` which was held on December,18-19,2019. The invited speaker for 3rd nanotechnology Workshop Professor Dr. Muhktar Ahmed, paid a visit to Dr. Idris Hadi on Dec 24, 2019. Dr. Muhktar is a professor from Nanotechnology Integrated Biomedical Engineering Centre, NIBEC, Ulster University-England. He was invited to the 3rd nanotechnology Workshop as a keynote speaker by the department of physics education-TIU. Dr. Mukhtar is working on drug formulation and drug delivery. He has many publications on nanotechnology integrated biomedical engineering applications. Tishk International University (TIU) held a fabulous opportunity for the 10th ,11th and 12th grade students of (Rizgary private high school, Zheen high school, Zanyary private school, Zozan high school, Zirak private school and Kirkuk university) between December 12-19, of 2019, to visit TIU campus. About (650) students have visited TIU in 4 days. They were all welcomed warmly by the university administration and staff. They were leaded around and introduced to all the departments of TIU. Education faculty prepared an exhibition for introduction to the education courses of academic year (2019-2020) on Thursday, December 19, 2019, in the entrance of the education faculty building. Students created educational 3D and standard posters. The Second Grade students from the departments of Biology, ELT, Mathematics, and Physics were participated. The main purpose of the exhibition was to improve student’s Cooperative Learning and have their hands-out of their own product and also to improve student’s presentation skills and public speaking skills.
