On October 13, 2019, TIU - Research Center held its 1st national workshop titled (The Importance of Stereochemistry in Science) at Tishk International University. The workshop has been presented by Professor (Giovanni Vidari) from Italy. The workshop will be in progress for five days. The opening ceremony was done by the Director of the Research Center (Prof. Dr. Faiq H.S. Hussain), and on the last day of the workshop, a certificate of attendance will be presented to the participants. Tishk International University (TIU) delegation team consists of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President of TIU, and Dr. Sultan Ourabi, Member of board of trustees, visited the Russian federation. Dr. Bashir Abbas, a Lecturer from Moscow University, as well escorted the TIU Delegation to visit several high ranked universities in Russia. The team visited the following universities of Lomonsov Moscow State University, Financial University, Sechenov University, Higher School of Economics National Research University on October 10-12, 2019. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President of TIU, and Dr. Sultan Ourabi, Member of board of trustees, visited the Moscow State Academy of Water Transport. The TIU president, Dr. Idris Hadi and the Tishk delegation were warmly welcomed by associate Dr. Igor Mischenko Rector of Academy. Dr. Idris Hadi and Dr. Sultan Ourabi had a fruitful meeting with Dr. Igor Mischenko, Rector of Academy and several vice presidents and faculty Deans. Dr. Bashir Abbas, a Lecturer from Moscow University, accompanied the Tishk International University delegation during their visit to the (highly ranked) Penza State University. The Director of Quality Assurance (QA) at Tishk International University, Dr. Samira T. Saeed, participated in a three-day workshop on benchmarking in higher education, Dubai, UAE in September 2019. Benchmarking forms a significant process that is highly recommended in higher education institutions to understand and evaluate the current position of a specific program or process. On Wednesday October 02, 2019, Tishk International University held an Accreditation Certificates Awarding Event of its English Language Teaching, Mathematics Education, Physics Education, and Biology Education Bachelor Programs. The event started with welcoming the representative of the Accreditation Agency ASIC, Mr Geoff Boston the International Development Manager and Ms. Florence Waniwa the Customer Relations Manager.
