On December 12th, Mathematics Education Department staff including  head of the department and students from third & fourth stages went on a scientific trip to KOYA University. In the reception there was Dr. Abdulqadir head of Mathematics Department, Collage of Science and other staff and students also they showed a nice greeting and great hospitality. The trip went according to a schedule, firstly some visits were done to Mathematics Department’s heads in their offices. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President of Tishk International University (TIU), visited the Jordan University of science and technology in Jordan on December 16-17, 2019. The TIU delegation were welcomed by the president of Jordan University Dr. Saib Abdul Halim Xresat, Vice Presidents, Director of IRO Office and the dean of Dentistry Faculty. The aim of the visit was to start a new academic collaborations and to sign memorandum of understanding with the Jordan University of science and technology. As a tradition of the department, every year a group of students from the International Relations and Diplomacy department pay a field visit to the Kurdistan parliament. On December 11th. 2019, accompanied by the head of department and a number of staff from the department first and second year students visited Parliament. The visit which was well-organized by the Parliament Presidency included a presentation by Mr. Hemn Hawrami, deputy parliament speaker in which he covered Parliament Diplomacy and it was followed by a very instructive question and answer session where students came up with timely questions and the deputy speaker provided [...]

Mercy Corner is an annual humanitarian project of our university that is done each year by our students and staff. This year’s Mercy Corner has been initiated proudly with the cooperation of Dilenwa Organization on November 03, 2019, entitled by Mercy Corner #Rojava, which was dedicated to those displaced people because of the recent situations occurred in western Kurdistan. Dean of Student of Tishk International University held an art exhibition on December 02, 2019 in the entrance of the main building. Portraits were done by our talented students with the supervising of our art instructor under the title of “Talking Pictures”. The ribbon cut by Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees, Vice Presidents and Deans, the exhibition continued till late of the day students and lectures paid a visit to the portraits during the day.
