Civil Engineering Department of Tishk International University organized a half day workshop on Important Architectural and Structural Attributes for Seismic Design on December 17, 2017. The Seminars of the workshop were presented by Mr. Wrya Abdullah, Assistant lecturer in University of Sulaimani. A First Aid Training workshops, held at Tishk International University, Sulaimania on Wednesday December 13, 2017, which was organized by Health and Safety Committee. Four sessional workshops have been delivered by experienced Firs-Aid trainer. All participants & students enjoyed the professional and informative training, lead to more confident. The topics of the workshops were (Training equipped students with required knowledge, hands on skills in heart attack, body injured and various accidental situations. The participants received their First Aid Training Certificates.  

As all you know December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day. In this context Student Deanery of Tishk International University organized an amazing ceremony. Here are the brief of our flag, the main characteristic of the flag is the blazing golden sun emblem in its center. The emblem's sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with the single odd ray at the top and the two even rays on the bottom. The deanery stdeunts of Tishk International University distributes second part of the donations which are collected by Tishk International staff and students. On Thursday, December 14, 2017, Future Builders Team of Tishk International University visited IDPs who fled Kirkuk and are now settled in Altun City, Hawler. The campaign was in cooperation with the Dilnawa Charity Foundation and the KRG Ministry of Social Affairs. Our campaign targeted 75 IDP families provided them with winter clothes for all the family members, three bottles of milk and one big blanket for each family. In the recent visit of Dr Idris Hadi Salih, Head Of Board Of Trustees and President, he paid a visit to University of Technology. He was welcomed by president of the university, Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir.  The Academic and Scientific Affairs Vice President was also in the meetings and welcomed the Tishk International delegation. In an amicable meeting between both universities and discussing scientific issues both side shows their desires to collaborate and performing workshops and seminars especially for new departments of Tishk International University such as mechatronics, petroleum and mining etc.

Law Alumni were welcomed back at Tishk International University in the Annual Alumni Reunion on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Alumni Office and Law department arranged a reunion for recent graduated students of law department class of 2017. The aim of the event was for showing loyalty from the university to them and vice versa also, strengthening friendship ties with each other and reminding university life.
