 On 21 and 23 of November Directorate of Health and Safety Community hold a meeting for all private and public Universities of Kurdistan at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ms. Shewa Mahsum presented a seminar on Categorizing Waste Project that already has been implemented at Tishk International University Sulaimani. Dr. Brwa Saieed  Head of Health and Safety Community was grateful of  practical  implementation of  categorizing waste at Tishk International University Sulaimani .Other Universities were recommended to get start the project of categorizing waste as soon as possible.

As all of you know we are in the holy month of Mawlid, the month which Islamic prophet Muhammed was born in it. Muslims from all around the world will honor the birth of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUM), who comes to the humanity as a guidance and a leadership. There may be no more classes together, but that doesn’t mean they don’t gather again. On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, the ELT Department and the Alumni Office of Tishk International University hosted a Reunion Event for the Class of 2017. The Reunion Event was held to reunite former friends and lecturers who have known and been together for last four years, to relive memories that would last forever. Tishk International University is planning to provide more services to students. A new modern car parking is now in services for our students. After the approval of the project design by Dr. Idris Hadi, Head Of Board Of Trustees and President , on November 28, 2017 the working on the project was started. The students car parking is estimated to be 50000m2. The capacity of the parking area is up to 3000 car that can park.
