DENTISTRY DEPARTMENT COMMENCED the first step of the Volunteer Teeth Care project on November 23, 2016. Pedodontic department’s team composing of a lecturer, a clinical assistant and 20 dental students visited Erbil Ola Primary School which is located in Saidawa in Erbil. The visit was performed with partnership of Dean of Students and Kurdistan Save Children Organization that provided the project with materials and governmental permission for visiting schools. The number of the examined school’s children were 260, all included by the dental examination. Tishk International University offers a variety of training courses to help the educators improve their vocational skills. Within this context, about 82 teachers registered for a 30-day program in which they will update their current knowledge and improve their critical and analytical thinking abilities concerning English, Mathematics and Science courses, in terms of inspection. Darashukran and Qushtapa refugee camps will host our ELT students for Educational help to the refugees. The project had been lunched last year by Dr. Numan Kanar in the purpose of providing and helping people who are in educational need in the refugee camps.
