On Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in a historic event, the second national ranking of Kurdistan Universities was released in the presence of Mr. Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Yusuf Goran the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a number of parliament members, university presidents and vice presidents. In the National University Ranking (NUR) of Kurdistan Region in Iraq, Tishk International University was ranked in Group B by taking the 4th place among private universities of Kurdistan.
