Tishk International University Student Deanery with volunteer students held the second commemoration ceremony with the name of “Thanks for Martyrs” killed in chemical bombing of Halabja, Anfal, Raparin and recent Martyrs fought against the terrorist group of ISIS. During the ceremony in Saad Abdullah Conference Hall the speech of Tishk International University Rectorate and Ministry of Martyr and Anfal, Hawler governorate has been read. Plaques and some gifts were been given to the mother (Aysha) of three martyr brothers and (Shahid Hujam) Surchys’ family by Hawler governorate and representative of Ministry of Higher Education. The ceremony has ended by a national song by the famous Kurdish Singer (Dyari Qaradaghy) and Muhammad Abdul.

The purpose of this ceremony was to remind the sad history of our nation to new generation in order to enlighten the path to new horizons. Also Tishk International university’s respect and fidelity to Kurdistan Martyrs, has shown again. (English content by Cemal Cakez)
