Jordanian Journalists Syndicate Organizes Seminar on Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi’s Book “Milestones of My Life”

The Jordanian Journalists Syndicate in Northern Jordan organized a specialized press seminar dedicated to the book “Milestones of My Life”, authored by Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University.

The seminar explored the key themes and experiences presented in the book, with particular emphasis on the author’s personal, educational, and academic journey throughout more than seven decades. The event provided journalists, academics, and media professionals with an opportunity to discuss the book’s account of the major milestones that shaped Prof. Dr. Abu-Orabi’s life and academic career, as well as his experiences and contributions across different stages of his professional journey.

The seminar brought together a distinguished group of academics, media professionals, and public figures, including Prof. Dr. Amjad Nasser, Vice President of Yarmouk University; Prof. Dr. Zuhair Al-Tahat, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Yarmouk University; Reem Jamal Al-Obeidat, Adviser to the Government of Dubai; Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tannash Al-Shatnawi; and Dr. Mohammad Khair Al-Bashtawi, in addition to a number of academics, journalists, and individuals interested in academic and media affairs.

The discussions highlighted the value of documenting personal and professional experiences and preserving the intellectual and academic journey of prominent scholars for future generations. Participants also reflected on the role of such publications in connecting personal experiences with broader developments in education, academia, media, and society.

The seminar represented a valuable platform for intellectual and media dialogue around “Milestones of My Life”, while also recognizing Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi’s extensive academic journey and his contributions to higher education and academic cooperation over the decades.
