Tishk International University Leadership Meets President Masoud Barzani to Discuss Academic Development and International Engagement

A delegation from Tishk International University (TIU), led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, met with H.E. President Masoud Barzani at his office in Salahaddin on August 27, 2026.

The meeting focused on TIU’s academic and technological development, its expanding international partnerships, and its contributions to the local community. Discussions also addressed the key challenges and opportunities facing higher education institutions in the Kurdistan Region and the importance of further strengthening academic development and international engagement.
