On December, 12, 2017 Dean of Students organized a ceremony for celebrating Christmas tree and New Year for outstanding with our beloved Christian students.

Mr. Ali Bala, Dean of Students mentioned about the importance of organizing these kind of events for different backgrounds and religions.

Since Tishk International University is a place for gathering different ideas, opinions and colors. Tishk International is a place for living together with love without thinking about ethnics.

Then Our Beloved Student Bahra Rafael warmly thanked Tishk International University’s Presidency for giving them this chance to celebrate Christmas.

She informed all the meaning of the Christmas tree. Where did the name come from? The signs and symbols along the tree, their wishes for this Christmas and New Year that are for Peace to find shelter in this region and to induce a stable country.

Finally, Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President opened the Christmas tree by cutting the ribbon and wished the best for all and a good year. Adding that we can develop like most of other countries and have better opportunities and chances in life to raise a better generation.
