We are proud to announce that the Director of Quality Assurance (QA) at Tishk International University, Dr. Sameerah T. Saeed, has been appointed as the Country Director of Kurdistan at the International Higher Education, Teaching and Learning Association (HETL). HETL maintains NGO Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and has partnerships with some of the leading educational organizations in the world. HETL focuses on four key areas in higher education:

1) global networking and multidisciplinary collaboration,

2) academic research, innovation, and publishing,

3) higher education development and capacity building

4) rights, democracy, and sustainability.
