Tishk International University Expands Its Global Academic Network Through Strategic Visit to Poland

In line with its vision of strengthening international cooperation and enhancing academic excellence, Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University, conducted an official business visit to the Republic of Poland from 12 to 18 July 2026. The visit represented another important step in the University’s ongoing efforts to establish strategic partnerships with internationally renowned higher education institutions and to create broader opportunities for academic collaboration and global engagement.

During his visit, Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris visited Jagiellonian University, the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Cracow University of Technology, and AGH University of Krakow, where he held a series of high-level meetings with the presidents, rectors, and senior university officials. The discussions focused on expanding academic and scientific cooperation between Tishk International University and these prestigious Polish institutions, with particular emphasis on developing sustainable partnerships that contribute to excellence in education, research, and innovation.

The meetings resulted in the activation of student and academic staff exchange programs, paving the way for greater international mobility and creating valuable opportunities for students and faculty members to engage in collaborative research, knowledge exchange, and intercultural academic experiences.

The participating institutions also explored prospects for future joint research projects, academic events, curriculum development, and other collaborative initiatives that will further strengthen their institutional relationships.

A significant achievement of the visit was the official signing of an Agreement on Cooperation between Tishk International University and Cracow University of Technology. This agreement establishes a solid foundation for long-term collaboration in areas of mutual interest and reflects the shared commitment of both universities to advancing academic quality, scientific research, and internationalization.
