Tishk International University secures a place among the world’s top 1,000 universities, achieving the 801–1000 global ranking band.

Tishk International University (TIU) proudly celebrates a major achievement: ranking first in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027.

Positioned in the 801–1000 band worldwide, TIU leads the Iraqi institutions listed in this year’s rankings, which include 2,297 ranked universities across 118 countries and territories.

TIU’s results are particularly strong in Research Quality, with a score of 71.0, and International Outlook, with a score of 67.7, highlighting the university’s research impact and international engagement.
