Tishk International University (TIU) is excited to announce the 1st International Kurdistan-Italian Scientific and Cultural Workshop. This prestigious event will be held on February 9-10, 2025.

The workshop is organized by the Kurdistan-Italy Friendship Association (KIW). It is a collaborative effort with Salahaddin University-Erbil and Tishk International University. The primary aim is to foster scientific collaboration and cultural exchange. Furthermore, it will provide a vital platform for academic and cultural engagement between Italy and Kurdistan.

Event Highlights:

• Opening Remarks: Keynote speeches will be delivered by representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Salahaddin University, Tishk International University, KIW, and the Italian Delegation Leader.
• Lectures and Keynote Sessions: Italian and Kurdish professors, alongside young researchers, will present insightful lectures. These will cover a variety of scientific and cultural topics.
• Roundtable Discussions: Collaborative sessions are planned to enhance academic partnerships. These discussions will also facilitate MOU signings, program development, and joint research promotion.
• Cultural Performances: Attendees can enjoy a showcase of Kurdish and Italian heritage. This will include traditional performances and cuisine during event breaks.
