Tishk International University proudly commemorated Kurdistan Flag Day through a meaningful and well-organized event led by the Dean of Students. The celebration brought together students, academic staff, and university leadership to honor Kurdish identity, history, and shared values.
Symbolism of the Kurdish Flag
The Kurdish flag, a powerful symbol of unity and pride, carries deep meaning for the Kurdish people. At its center shines the “Roj,” a golden sun with 21 rays, symbolizing renewal, hope, and resilience.
