Exploring Academic and Cultural Collaboration

Tishk International University was pleased to host Mr. Adisak Jantatum, Charge d’Affaires (acting Ambassador) of the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman, in a virtual meeting held on January 18, 2026.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on potential avenues for academic collaboration between Tishk International University and universities in the Kingdom of Thailand.


Thailand Corner Proposal

Discussions also explored the possibility of establishing a Thailand Corner on the TIU campus, envisioned as a platform to:

  • Promote cultural awareness

  • Strengthen academic and cultural exchange between the two sides

The meeting was attended by senior representatives of TIU, including:

  • Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of the University

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Cura, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs

  • Mr. Dana Shamsaddin, Director of the International Relations Office

Mr. Adisak Jantatum, Charge d’Affaires (acting Ambassador), represented the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman.
