Erbil, March 14, 2026 — Tishk International University organized a tree-planting initiative on campus, bringing together students, academic staff, and employees in a shared effort to promote environmental sustainability and enhance the campus environment.
The activity was held with the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Head of the Board of Trustees, whose participation highlighted the University’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement.
During the initiative, participants worked collaboratively to plant trees across different areas of the campus, contributing to the creation of greener spaces and raising awareness about the importance of protecting natural resources. The event also aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among students toward preserving the environment and supporting sustainable practices.
