Tishk International University President Visits Al-Balqa Applied University to Strengthen Academic Cooperation

As part of Tishk International University’s commitment to expanding international academic partnerships and fostering collaboration with leading higher education institutions, Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University, paid an official visit to Al-Balqa Applied University in Al-Salt, Jordan, on May 31, 2026.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Abu-Orabi was received by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fakhry Al-Ajlouni, President of Al-Balqa Applied University. He also met with Prof. Dr. Zaid Ahmed Al-Anber, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Dr. Haitham Al-Shibly, Vice President for Quality Assurance and Centers Affairs; and a number of senior officials and academic leaders from the university.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two institutions and exploring avenues for future collaboration in areas of mutual interest. Discussions highlighted opportunities for academic and research cooperation, staff and student exchange programs, and the organization of joint scientific and academic conferences that would contribute to enhancing educational quality and research excellence.

Both sides emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships between universities in the region and promoting the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices. They also expressed their shared commitment to developing collaborative initiatives that support academic development and create valuable opportunities for students and faculty members.

The visit reflects Tishk International University’s ongoing efforts to establish productive international partnerships and further its mission of excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
